Enjoyed my stay ... but bring a blanket or extra clothes because you will freeze during the night! I was so cold that I had to put on 3 pants and 2 jumpers brrr... nice people and CLEAN hostel - one of the cleanest I have seen for a while. Beds were amazingly comfortable - though again they only give you linen sheets which is good in summer but not so in June :)

Great location. Rooms were very hot. Hostel staff took you to a different bar every night, fre entry and free drink, then cheap drinks after that - helped with the budget.

It was 'okay' but was extremly noisy at night with people screaming, shouting and arguing. The staff we're nice but the pool table had more personality. As for the beds??????? If you weren't being woken up by the noise of the people you were being woken up when you turned over they squeaked that loudly or you just woke up coz you may aswell have been laying flat on the bunks bars. It was a very poor excuse for a matress.

we were quite disappointed that we had alot of food stolen from us in your hostel over the 3 days that we were there, we understand sometimes this cannot be helped but we have not had no where near this probablem the whole of the way up the east coast. Also we booked our initial two nights over the internet and there was no record of our booking when we arrived. we then booked a further nights accomodation to which we found a note in our room to contact reception immediatly. they had not recorded our booking for our extra night even though they had given us a receipt for it, and we feel that they did speak to us quite rudely and automatically pressumed that we hadnt paid!

BEDS ARE PAPER THIN WITH HUGE SLATS UNDERNEATH WHICH DIG IN TO YOUR BACK. BUT YOU DO GET SO DRUNK IT THE BRILLIANT BAR YOU TEND NOT TO CARE WHERE YOU SLEEP.

This really was an awesome place to stay, the best/friendliest staff around, a few hundred meter walk to Cavill Ave (the Heart of Surfers), the beach, the bus line, everything you could need, the staff will help you out with the rest, $6 bbq every night for dinner, Pub Crawls and Pool comps! Only down side... the bathrooms are a lil outdated which gives them a very dirty appearance.
