- “ Don't expect to get what you see on the pics, you'll be very deceived by what you got. You have to share the 3 bathroom-restrooms with all the customers from your floor so don't expect it to be clean and non-flooded (unless you're lucky and you just enter the bathroom after a maid). To sum up the situation, you pay too much for what you get ”

- “ Location is good. Hotel near the skyline and Chelsea Piers, and I could take a walk in the morning or at night falls . However, It is not convenience because I can not use internet in the room. ”

- “ It's great for the money. Staff was friendly and easygoing. Rooms and bathrooms were cleaner than I had expected. Very close to a bus stop. The internet, however, in addition to being accessible only in the lobby, wasn't working the entire time I was there. ”

- “ The staff were super sweet while we were there. Although the beds were uncomfortable everything was nice and clean, and although some of the coldest days, our rooms were always VERY warm (even had to turn air conditioning on haha) A pretty convenient area. Only wished that the doors were locked outside... they have the keycard to get in, but it was never needed, it was just always kept unlocked. ”

- “ This was a good location in chelsea in Manhattan for the price it was good value. I can't afford Manhattan hotel of over $100 but I like the place. Staff was nice. I booked online so was easy to find and get to.The hostels website is weird I dont like it. They have most places that you can only book as a group or have to pay for 4 to 6 person. ”

- “ muy mala calefacción, colchones que dejan mucho que desear, no tiene ascensor y hay cuatro pisos, no es barato y el desayuno es un desastre. ”

- “ Expensive hostel, but beds are uncomfortable and we were woken up every morning by outside noise. 2 days out of five without warm water. Breakfast is included, but served in a very small lobby without enough seats for everybody. However there is a cool bar one block away. ”

- “ Do not leave anything in your room at this hostel during the day. I left a few nonvaluable items that I didn't want to carry around during the day, such as pajamas, a change of clothes, toiletries, etc in the room. I wasn't too concerned about theft since they weren't worth any money, but obviously they were things that I needed. Plus, only one other guest had a key to the room. When I got back for the night, all of my items were gone from my room. I was told that the maids had probably taken my item ”

- “ Me gustó mucho el hostal fue una buena estadía, buen precio, lo único es que se pierde un poco la esencia de los hostales porque casi no se interactua con las demás personas que se están hospedando. ”

- “ The rooms were clean and tidy, actually the hostel generally. Bit of a mix up with the room bookings but staff were helpful in resolving. Good location. Communal area is a million degrees though, recommend some A/C ! ”

- “ My room was next to the road, which was not effected by the traffic, rather the smokers smoke coming into the room. ”

- “ They have keycards instead of keys, and they're the crappy kind. They say not to put them next to your phone or credit cards - but even if you don't do that, you can GUARANTEE that your card will stop working multiple times a day. The beds are pretty crappy too. Good luck fitting in them if you're over 6'2". However, it's New York and there aren't a whole lot of picks at $60/night. So if you can deal with these things, you can deal with it and you'll survive. It's clean and safe enough. ”

- “ check in at 3 p.m. ok, but room was not made until 5 p.m., no towels, no excuses, instead of this unfriendly and unhelpful staff ”
- 3 June 2012 Alexander
- “ Staff was absolutely unfriendly. Hostel was more expensive than announced. No AC, room heats up very fast. Opposite to a moving company, lots of noise. Breakfast from 8.30 to 12, but at 8.15 everything is gone. Hostel tries to make money with everything (like storing luggage). Definitely not good experience. ”

- “ It took an hour to check in, with no crowd and no line. Something was wrong with the registration desk computer, and the desk attendant was clueless, had to call support support was slow in coming, etc. No fallback option, guest just has to sit in the lobby for an hour ... ”
