“ This week I went to three different hostels, and I payed more at Chelsea, it is more expensive and the others have better qualities about food and clean appearance, the other had real breakfast, I just had coffee at Chelsea and there were towels in the others, my blanket at Chelsea looked kind of too old and dirty. But the staff at Chelsea is great, and I liked the bed, best bed, comfortable. I hope to help with my words. Thanks. :) ”

“ It's an expensive place and you are literally paying for the location. The facilities aren't great and the staff aren't the happiest and not that helpful. You kind of get the imagine that they want to get rid of any kind of atmosphere an example was me and some friends that i met at the hostel were just chatting and having a drink and a staff member came and told us to go out on the streets and not stay in the hostel, which we did, and then got in trouble with the police for drinking. Not good. ”

“ incredible location, you can go everywhere in manhattan by walking. the staff at the reception desk was ok, the cleaning and breakfast personal was very nice. there's just wifi in the common areas, not in all the rooms. it was very clean and secure. we booked a room for 2 people and it was a bit small, but very cure. the rooms have air conditioned. great value, excellent location and not very expensive, consirering that it's in the heart of manhattan ”

“ When everybody in my room went to bed at 9 or 10pm, I could not do something else because all public areas also were "closed" (they just removed tables and chairs from there). ”

“ Simple place, but fine. Staff neither nice nor rude. Bed comfortable and place clean. Wifi just in common area that close 11pm, and not very strong wifi. Quiet place because common area closes, but might be hard to get to know others. Ppl were social and open when I was there, and I made friends, but the building doesnt help interaction. Court yard very nice in the summer! Bathrooms fresh and clean. The area is perfect and close to many metro stops. ”

“ Hostel was clean, however facilities were rather poor. The advantage of this hostel is its international character- you can meet a lot of people from all around the world. Internet works only in the kitchen and computer rooms, so it's always crowded - that helps meeting new people. It is quite expensive for that standard. ”

“ close to the subway. quiet. the precinct station is just cross the street. But hard to catch the wifi. only neary by the internet room or in the internet room. The noisy aircondition could bother your deep sleep. ”

“ The hostel is quite good.More so given the prices. Some facilities might not be very 'cuzy', but everything is clean. I stayed in an individual room, and it was comfortable, with AC, and with a shared bathroom also clean. Breakfast is good also, coffee, juice and some bakery. It has a terrace where it is nice to hang out. The best asset however is it location, right in Chelsea, a laid-back neighborhood, close to the High Line, and blue and red lines. Safe area, with groceries and restaurants ”

“ hey guys ! i was there for 2 weeks. the things i didn' t liked are these: 1) on their website is written "wifi on common area", but we had an internet access only in the kitchen. 2) i didn't like the continental breakfast. 3) the beds were too old. 4) he bins to put in your things are old either 5) closing the area at 11 p.m. i liked: location, subway in near, bathroom. ”

“ Most of the reception staff was great except for this one person who made my experience sour and this made me not want to stay there again. He was extremely rude and impatient and unwilling to help with anything at the hostel. It is a hospitality position and staff shouldnt behave as though it is a pain to help a guest! ”
