One of the best places in Chengdu to stay for a few days or longer time, with nice staff, good location, clean room and cheap price.

Great location! Right next to the Tibetan quarter which had a wonderful atmosphere and some of the best food around! I would strongly recommend trying a Tibetan restaurant! The rooms were very spacious and the ensuite bathrooms were really nice!

The bathroom in our 3 bed room was really ugly, needed some repair. Though the place (opposite the Wuhou temple) is perfect.

Rather thin mattress and threadbare linen. I opted to find somewhere else to stay. To be fair, staff were helpful and offered a refund.

Excellent service. The employees were very helpful, friendly and very knowledgable about the city and it's surroundings. Highly reccomended.

This hostel was really great! The staff were incredibly helpful, nice and accomadting! They bent over backwards for us! The room for stored luggage could be more secure! But other than that! Amazing place, if you go to Chengdu, stay here, it will make your trip!

this is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in! I suggest not visiting it unless you absolutely have to try Holly Hostel instead. The staff at the dreams hostel are not only incompetent but also vague and lazy. for the amount of money you pay it's really not worth the trouble you will experience. They like to take their sweet ass time when booking travel permits to Tibet they quote 5 days or more to get the permit, most other places will say 2 or 3 days, CDreams just wants the extra income. It took them over 2 hours to check me in and I Had a reservation! Their onsite self laundry is an area with a bunch of washboard style sinks and some clothes lines strung about. Although they do have washing machines and dryers you have to find the right staff member who has the ability to open the door and let you in then it takes 3 hours or more to do 1 load of laundry, it took me 3 days to find the right staff member. The self kitchen has its own opening hours but there are they are not posted anywhere! The rooms are of mediocre quality, and the lockers in the showers are mostly broken. The Chengdu Dreams Hostel claims to be an HI hostel but I am not enitrely sure it is. You take your chances while staying here! This is just one world travelers opinion, I have stayed in HI hostels in around 15 or 16 countries and I have been to 24 or so and this is the worst place I have ever stayed......and I stayed in a bus shelter on the street in Spain!
