- “ I can't recommend Sam's unfortunately. The room is tired, the shower curtain is 10 times tooooo long and the management don't seem to notice it, no new toilet paper in room every day. The room was just very tired. ”

- “ Was very well taken care of by the staff, as they were able to help me with so many of my questions and requests. A great place for first time visitors to Chengdu, and I would definitely stay there again if I have the chance. ”

- “ An excellent hostel - great location near the main square and subway. Excellent staff whose English is excellent and they are very helpful and can offer great advice and service to help you arrange trips and tickets. Angie and Terry were very helpful in arranging my trip to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and Songpan. Not really a common area - but the hotel which is part of it was really good. Food in the restaurant was also excellent. Everything you want from a great hostel - recommended highly ”

- “ The people working at the reception were just awesome. They were very nice and were very knowledgeable. The room was kept clean. Only small problem is that in the small lobby of the guesthouse, they say if you need to ask for information, to dial a 4-digit code. It was some Chinese women that kept hanging up on me after 7 times. Then I got a call on that phone and it was from someone that spoke English. I would have appreciated if she didn't understand English, to pass me someone that did. ”
