Cold showers but they were aware of problem and installing new hot water boilers when I was staying there. Hostel looks very very new and was very clean. Nice view from the roof. With fixed showers one of the best hostels I've visited.

This hostel is good if your happy with cold showers, expensive internet and expensive rates. It was nice to have a private room rather than a dorm, but if I'm ever in Brisbane again, I won't be staying here! Staff were friendly but not helpfull. Made a complaint about the lack of hot water and they tried to blame it on the drought in Australia...not sure if she was having a blonde moment or not, but sounded like a rubbish excuse to me.

Really great place to stay. If you ahve big groups of people it would be more fun as you can party on the roof. Great location to the main station and perfect for a one night stop or an extended stay
I thought the hostel was expensive for what got, the 6 bed dorm was really cramped with no storage space. Which was a real nusiance when you had to take care of your own delph and cutlery.

Good hostel but the showers were cold quite often.
A grand spot to find your feet in Brisbane. But unfortunately I think large hostels like this can feel like institutions sometimes.
"Chill" is pretty much the last thing you'll be doing here - with every single noise from someone walking down the corridor in flip flops to a mouses fart being amplified and made to sound like you are sleeping in the hall. Take some earplugs if you are planning on sleeping.

Bathrooms were shared between males and females. Showers really small. No shelves to put your stuff on. Only 3 sinks for one floor - nowhere to put stuff again. No lockers in rooms. Not that clean. Miserable staff. On the positive side, good location! Easy to get to places of interest from there.
