It is ok for just a bed but showers/toilets/cooking/relaxing facilities are pretty awfull. You have to pay a deposit for everything (cutlery, cooking utensils, keys) which is a pain especially in the middle of cooking when you have to run down to reception to grab the extra knife you need. Perhaps strangest of all the hostel have banned consumption and even possesion of alcohol on the premises with a zero tolerence policy. Air con doesn't work during the day.

Great location, bunks were comfortable. Stayed in a female dorm with 2 bunks. Small room but you only really sleep in it so it was fine. Nice and clean.

bit of a dump to be honest, the same people own the youth shack hence seem to have a monopoly on the hostels in Darwin. Avoid. Room didn't appear to have been cleaned in ages and doors bang all night like a prison!

in the heart of the city, clean, quiet and with a great balcony where there is the kitchen, nice place to stay!

Found cockroaches in dorm. Although requested for all-female dorm, got some guys staying in for some nights, including a girl who brought in a guy for sex. It was very disturbing as she make mouningall types of sound on the top-double decker bed for 1 hour despite the fact that there were 3 female sleeping in the same dorm!

the staff:not every info about the things told to me, after 5 days i heard that the breakfast is for free. Why do i have to hear it from another traveler? I say too that i want to go with the easyrider to the bungles, she sad, you will pas it with the bus and see it. Not, i am know in Broome and i mist it. Know i have to go back or leave to another place. The information that i had was so wrong. I am not happy with that.

The only worry I had about your hostel was the lack of an indoor room to read/watch TV other than that only complaint is I didn't stay longer- loved Darwin and the hostel I stayed in
