In a noisy neighbourhood, but of course a good location. If you're gonna stay in room and try to sleep, I'm not suggesting at all. Other than that, for just a night's stay, no problem.

Wonderful friendly helpful team of people. Great place to stay and meet people. A wee bit noisy at weekends (nightclub around the corner).

I booked 3 beds i 8-bed dorm, and got exactly what I expected. The showers are XIX century, I almost broke my leg trying to climb down from my bulk (it is pretty high and has no handrails, but I admit I was a bit drunk ;), I didn't get much sleep because of the lesbian night-club outside and the heat inside, and I was worried all the time about the safety of my stuff (no lockers). The fridge is probably communal - no matter what you put in you end up taking something different, because yours is gone ;) Add all that and you will have a wonderful place with excellent climate and character. If I'm going back to Istambul someday, I'm staying in Chillout!
