I've stayed in 30+ hostels and this is one of the WORST! - Extremely dirty - I've over 75 itchy mosquito bites from 4 nights - Very loud music, drums & shouting at night. The doors to rooms creak v loudly too. - Very hot, stuffy and smelly. No circulation - 2 proper showers in whole place - Served 3/4 of microwave pizza as so-called breakfast - Tiring climb up 5 flights of stairs at end of long day - Staff seemed stoned - 1 computer with v slow internet always occupied

These comments are about Chillout Classic My worst hostel/hotel experience ever. We were forced to change room 4 times in 3 days. Our booked double room was a twin room despite the hostels previous confirmations that we were getting a double room and that our room was avalible. But it wasn´t. There was alot of staff but there was only 3 out of 8 people that did anything. One of the staff was really rude and was accusing me of calling him a liar, when my only question was which room we were going to switch to that day. So in short STAY AWAY.

we received an email from the hostel saying it was full, and they redirected us to Chillout Classic which is much closer to Taksim square. the name is quite fitting! the staff was very welcoming and they speak very good english. the office lounge is a great place to hang out and meet people, play backgammon and drink Raki. if you want a cheap fun place in a great location Chillout Classic is perfect!

Arrived and everything was disorganized. The building was in the middle of renovations, no washing machine, no HEAT, no breakfast, and there was a horrible smell.

Perfectly fine for a weekend away. Good location away from the busy crowds of the main areas of Taksim and Sultanahmet, with trams running every few minutes along the road at the bottom of the hill.

Is it rude to flame a hostel whilst still in it? Well, Hostelworld asked. The rooftop terrace is average at best, the directions fail to mention the 2 k walk down a long street, the drinks are too expensive, (as are the rooms), and breakfast is only from 10-11. On the plus side, the staff if very cool and reasonable. (When I had a dorm rezzie, they let me stay in a single when the dorm was full for the same price.) Plus the wireless was good and the noon check-out appreciated.

Very strange but very welcoming. The roof top holds amazing views of the city and the location is superb. Staff are more than helpful and this is certainly value for money.
