  • The hostel is cheap and has a good location. BUT there are no facilities means you can not use the kitchen. And also no communication. Just for sleeping it is ok but there is no place you can meet someone or talk to someone ( thats how a hostel suposed to be)

  • The Staff were pleasant, and the Location is great. Very Central in downtown Toronto. Walking distance to the Bus Terminal.

  • The hostel was located in the center of Toronto and that was really great! The room was nice and clean, though the shared bathrooms weren't. The staff at our arrival was extremely friendly and helpful, but the later staff was much less so. It was a little loud especially since our room was located right next to the entrance, but other than that everything was great. It is incredibly cheap for such a nice stay and location. I recommend this place for anyone just wanting to visit the city!

  • This hostel is a nice place near Chinatown, and downtown Toronto, very convenient to walk everywhere or take a subway. You would not expect a hostel to be as fancy as a hotel, but it's quite and clean. The staff were all very nice. Wendy is a lovely lady and she's very helpful for sure. We are satisfied with the experience overall.

  • This was my first time to Toronto, and because I went there for Visa, so the I wished I could live closer to the embassy and this is it!!! It is super close to the embassy and there are lots of market around there, also really near to the Art Gallery. Excellent!! the internet is fast enough and really warm there. The hotel lady was really nice and passion.

  • Honestly don't know how this place is still open and supposedly making money. There was no one at the reception when I arrived and when someone finally did show up they didn't have my reservation.I booked single room (since I had 3pieces of rather valuable luggage) they offered a rebate for a 6 bed dorm.It took a while, but I finally got my own room in the basement!Hostel and rooms are dirty. The walls seem to be thin as paper.Every time someone took a shower it was terribly loud.Avoid @ all cost!

  • Stayed here as a last resort, and thought it would be ok, but as: a) They didn't have our booking b) The staff are shockingly bad c) No lockers or locks on doors that worked d) Filthy bathroom I reallllllllly wouldn't recommended it, if your blind drunk i guess it might be ok...

  • Absolutely disgusting, awful experience. I had to wash all of my belongings when I got back because it just went without saying that this place has bedbugs. The woman working up front has an awful job, unless she's in on this scam. Just having shouting matches with customers all day and night. I was not comfortable giving her my credit card information, and I'll be monitoring my account for a while looking for extra charges. No idea how this dump hasn't been shut down by the city yet.

  • The toilets are filthy, no running water. The owners speak little or no English, and they moved my room twice. Also the place needs to be fumigated as they have major bed bugs issue. Wash all your clothes immediately and shower immediately and fumigate ur bags and sheets.

  • At first it felt good, staying outside the house. But when entering we didn't get a nice reception and we felt more like problems then guests. The room where very sad, with a small window and garbage under the bed. After two nights one of us gets bitten by bedbugs. The Hostel didn't have a common room or a kitchen.

  • Since 2008 I have been traveling all over the world. This hostel is the worst one I have found in all of my life. I booked a bed online and when i arrived in the hostel a very unpolite girl told me that the hostel was full and kicked me out. So I had to look for another hostel at midnight.

  • There was nobody at the hostel and the patio was very dirty, it looked abandoned. There were only phone numbers on the door. When we called, we were told that someone would come and take us to another place. That someone wound up being a homeless man (at least by his looks) incapable of telling us why this was happening nor the name of the owner. He brought us to another hotel where the credit card machine did not work. We left immediately (and were threatened of being charged anyway).

  • TERRIBLE. The room that that i had booked had been given to someone so they made phone call to the boss and moved me to another building on 16 grange street. The chinese woman who brought me to the other hotel was rude. The employee are not well organised. Besides, there was no towel, no phone, not even toilet paper and the place was not clean and no a/c. Some rooms have no window. The front door was wide open at night and anybody can enter in with no security. Avoid this hostel even if cheap.
