“ When I looked on the website for Ciarus it said that there were laundry facilities available for guests, but when I asked the front desk they told "I don't believe we have any...". Also, one day when I was showering the cleaning staff entered the room and proceeded to start cleaning even though they were told I was in the shower and could hear it. They then returned to finish when we had still not left the room. Not our faults, seeing as the hostel did not give a time to leave. ”

“ Staff was very helpful giving directions and tips for an evening out in the city. They kept my bag to take care of it during my walk to the city. This hostel is typical French youth hostel style establishment which caters to travelers , young families and school classes alike, so don't expect the pure backpacker experience there. There's a bag storage in the basement and a breakfast room on the ground floor. Perhaps not the cheapest hostel in France but excellent value for a city break. ”
