  • Perfect location - mazing view from the roof - terrace, very helpful staff (the Armenien from USA - very helpful!!!!!!!!!!) The weak point is showers. Ask whether the room has window. I had to move from 5 bed female bedroom to 10 bed room with windows - so better more beds but with window. the best hotel you can have in Old city!!!!! Don´t take Abraham which is recomended but very far....sou you will not feel atmosphere....

  • Location is good (at first I fought it might be difficult to find it). But have found it without big efforts. My room was very cold. Common bathroom were small and not very clean. Overall would recommend this place as value for money with very good location and terrace on the roof, were you can see old town of Jerusalem around you.

  • Just avoid the religious nutters that seem to be drawn to the place and everything will be sweet. Lovely place right in the middle of the nicest part of the Old City. Less trouble than sites near Damascus and Lion Gates. Jaffa Gate was not closed while I stayed there right through the middle of the recent troubles. Make sure you take a side trip to Ein Gedi National Park and the Dead Sea. Awesome. And swim in the Sea of Galillee (free swimming appears to be at the southern end of the Sea)

  • There is NO air conditioning. Be advised how HOT the tiny private rooms are. The rooms are NOISY, so bring ear plugs. All sounds echo against the rock walls. The "showers" are basically a hose over the toilets. When one visitor stinks.. the whole floor will be forced to smell him. It stays LOUD everywhere until 1-2am from people who don't want to sleep. The shared kitchen stays active til midnight.. w kitchen sounds echoing to three different floors. You will drag suitcase forever to get there..
