  • Very nice hosts and very climatic place, where you can really get the spirit of the Holy Jerusalem. The best view on the city. I strongly recommend.Thank you ALL!!! Shalom!

  • Just avoid the religious nutters that seem to be drawn to the place and everything will be sweet. Lovely place right in the middle of the nicest part of the Old City. Less trouble than sites near Damascus and Lion Gates. Jaffa Gate was not closed while I stayed there right through the middle of the recent troubles. Make sure you take a side trip to Ein Gedi National Park and the Dead Sea. Awesome. And swim in the Sea of Galillee (free swimming appears to be at the southern end of the Sea)

  • There is NO air conditioning. Be advised how HOT the tiny private rooms are. The rooms are NOISY, so bring ear plugs. All sounds echo against the rock walls. The "showers" are basically a hose over the toilets. When one visitor stinks.. the whole floor will be forced to smell him. It stays LOUD everywhere until 1-2am from people who don't want to sleep. The shared kitchen stays active til midnight.. w kitchen sounds echoing to three different floors. You will drag suitcase forever to get there..

  • Nice cozy place to stay in Jerusalem for few days - definitely for this price. The staff is very nice and happy to help. The rooms are nice, only negative thing is paper thin walls, you even hear someone brushing his teeth from other rooms or common bathroom. But altogether very nice place to stay.

  • Good location and friendly staff and guests all around. If you want a hostel with a lot of amenities and services this is not for you though. The bathrooms smelled because the showers weren't separated and right next to the toilets and waste bins. There also wasn't any toilet paper or soap most of the time. Some of the bedrooms don't have any windows since they're located in the old city. Perks are the rooftop view, location and helpfulness of the staff.
