On the screen in front of me it is not at all clear what is good or bad, the titles are not over the columns but in a ist aat the bottom! So I fille din 'average all through to avoid giving 'poor' when what I wanted t say was 'excellent'. In reality, I was very pleased with this hostel and hope I may have te opportunity to go there again! Thank you! Ann, from Ireland ~ 23rd Oct 2009

felt save and secure at all time; location is in walking distance to almost everything; free pasta is a nice and money-friendly gimmick; would stay there again... Armin, from Germany ~ 20th Sep 2009

The City Backpackers hostel was a perfetly decent place to stay. Not my favourite hostels of the many I've stayed in, but nothing wrong with it either. some staff were very friendly and helpful, others a bit more surly. There was a nice cafe in the lobby where you could get some affordable nourishment and the chance to socialise. The thing I liked least about the hostel was the policy of taking your shoes off as you enter, and leaving them in pigeonholes. I was walking around in my tights on a w

You might consider replacing some of the matrasses. My was so worn out I could feeld the springs and even the frame of the bed. Apart from that I had a very good stay.

The hostel was very nice to stay at. The hostel has a nice hang-out place and kitchen where you can meet new people. The free pasta is a bonus! If you have the chance, you should certainly attend the guided bike tour. Only one comment: it would be nice to have a small seperate bathroom in the bigger rooms, where you can change clothes. But overall it was a great hostel to stay at!

Kitchen is big with good supply of utensils and free (uncooked) pasta. My dorm room was basement level and felt like something between a bomb shelter and a bunker. No window, no air circulation, very poor air, very ugly. The beds were crammed into this small room with no space for luggage. Cassandra, from USA ~ 15th Sep 2009

I certainly would stay there again. Having to bring your own bed linen (or you could rent one there) might seem to be a minus, but I prefer using my own anyway. Excellent location. There is a kitchen where you can keep and cook your food, which makes the place even more preferable. Yusuf, from Turkey ~ 11th Aug 2009
