City BackPackers Hostel in Stockholm, Sweden

Only stayed one night in this little place. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were and lounges were nice and warm. Free internet was a nice bonus. Other people in hostel seemed fairly friendly. This place seemed as though it had alot to offer, in terms of tours, activities, etc. even in the off season. overall a good place to stay Lauren, from Australia ~ 10th Nov 2009

On the screen in front of me it is not at all clear what is good or bad, the titles are not over the columns but in a ist aat the bottom! So I fille din 'average all through to avoid giving 'poor' when what I wanted t say was 'excellent'. The City Backpackers hostel was a perfetly decent place to stay. Not my favourite hostels of the many I've stayed in, but nothing wrong with it either. some staff were very friendly and helpful, others a bit more surly. There was a nice cafe in the lobby where you could get some affordable nourishment and the chance to socialise. Thanks for all the feedback! I am so sorry to hear about your fall by the staircase - I do hope you didn't get hurt! Now I've put some anti slip tape there to avoid future injuries. Also I'm working on a private solution for those who feel that "the more the merrier" does not apply on shower situations! But it pains me that you were in constant fear of your shoes being stolen during your stay! You didn't have to leave them by the shoe reck you know, there are lockers in the dorms where you can keep them. Anyway, I trust you had a good time in Stockholm! Welcome back any time! Lena

You might consider replacing some of the matrasses. My was so worn out I could feeld the springs and even the frame of the bed. Apart from that I had a very good stay.

The hostel was very nice to stay at. The hostel has a nice hang-out place and kitchen where you can meet new people. The free pasta is a bonus! If you have the chance, you should certainly attend the guided bike tour. Only one comment: it would be nice to have a small seperate bathroom in the bigger rooms, where you can change clothes. But overall it was a great hostel to stay at!
