  • Nice location and very clean rooms. There are lockers inside the rooms as well. There is no breakfast though. Also no wifi in the rooms. Its the best you can get in Zurich since everything is so expensive. Also if u have a lot of luggage just be careful coz there is no lift. You can rent bedsheets if you forget to carry them with you. Overall a good place to stay in Zurich. Keeping in mind the scarcity of cheap accommodation in Zurich it is highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

  • You get what you pay for with this hostel - it is very cheap and crowded and the wi-fi is dodgy. Luckilly I was steaming drunk however

  • Lots of stairs to get up and down, but this is more of a comment really than a complain

  • We were here for only one, very short night. We needed to be close to the train station and this was a great location. Its was a very short walk. A bit hard to find since we did not find the building #'s but a nice man walked us right to it. The hostel was in nice, clean condition. The lounge was small and crowded. Its the only location you can get wifi so Im sure that why. Dont forget sheets and a towel!!!! We brought sheets but forgot a towel and had to pay 3 francs.

  • No oil/salt/pepper in the kitchen? No WIFI in the rooms? That's pretty inconvenient. I'd say the vibe is a little depressing but that's unlikely to change.

  • The showers are a little bit dirty but what else is to be expected when many people use them? There is a kitchen on each floor, fully equipped with plates etc, even a microwave! The service is excellent, the staff extremely friendly. This Hostel is definitely a cheap alternative for everybody staying in Zurich

  • Hostel is located in the old city, near many cafes and shops. Staff are friendly and helpful, and cheerfully answered my questions.

  • Staff were really friendly and helpful - gave us lots of useful tips and information. A lift would be useful for people travelling with heavy luggage - this is a lot of stairs. Not very practical. Enjoyed the use of the kitchen.

  • If you are carrying big luggage, then this may not be the place for you to stay. You will need to carry those big bags up the stairs to level 3 for the reception desk. And we saw some flies on the bed when we checked into the room.

  • It is a really well-located place, near restaurants, bars and touristic points, besides central station. The only problem is that they have a lot of stairs to achieve the room, when you are tired after walking all day, it can be a problem.

  • Zurich is a very expensive city and this hotel can be one of the few available options for low budget travellers. You get what you need but I don't expect to find a crazy atmosphere for partying. Many people will just stay in the small hall using Facebook!

  • Quite expensive in comparison to other European hostels (but normal for Switzerland). The rooms, showers, etc. are all very small. Since there are only very few alternatives in Zürich, i would stay there again

  • A microwave in the kitchen would be very handy. A solution must be found to the bad smell coming from the restaurant below .

  • There was a great deal of noise and music coming from the restaurant below about 9 pm on a Saturday night, but we were so exhausted we went right to sleep anyway. The location in a narrow alley offered lots of restaurants, bars, and shops.
