- “ Hairs on bedsheets indicated that they had not been washed. Old, noisy air conditioner cycled quickly between off and on and had a broken fan blade, causing it to make a lot of noise which was not constant (bad for sleeping). ”

- “ When we arrived with my friend, we were advised that the hostel couldn't honor our booking for 2 beds in a 6 female dorm and that we had to sleep in a 14 mixt dorm without prior notice. The owner lied on the deposit we made on the hostel website and asked for the whole amount. Furthermore, there was work outside the whole week-end and we were not offered another room. Once again the owner lied saying the work would stop on Saturday night, which didn't happen. Definitely not going back there ”

- “ saat cek in ternyata tidak sesuai dengan pesanan kami diinternet, yang mana masih tersedia 6 bed, kami pikir dalam1 kamar, ternyata dicampur dengan jumlah +/- 20 bed,walau kami protes owner tak mau mengerti, wife n daughter terpaksa 1 kamar khusus cw,saya & 2 son dikamar campuran,kami kecewa harus bayar lebih ,setara dengan menginap di hotel bintang 4 selama 2 malam, kayanya ga cocok unutk family dengan anak kecil. ”

- “ City Central Backpackers is a very food place. Friendly staff, helpful where they can. Rooms are clean and safe and mostly quiet. The place is safe and when you don't want to go out on a hot or rainy day you just sit down in the lobby and choose one of the DVD-films from the collection. ”

- “ Hotel situated in the centre of Singapore, close to every touristic place. Very clean and secure for the price. If I can go back to Singapore, I'll probably go to this hotel again! ”
