- “ The rooms were clean, and location is great-near the metro station. The regular staff was not very friendly or helpful, but the trainees were accommodating. Loud party till 3 - 4 am. Breakfast was provided, but it was limited to mostly starches - no fruit, tea, coffee. The cost was reasonable considering the value. Would have to consider whether or not I'd recommend it to anyone else. ”

- “ This hostel is highly recommended. I have stayed for a long time in this hostel for the following reasons. The location was excellent. five minutes' walk from metro station, facility was really great, 24 hour front desk staffs were helpful. The rooms had a lot of space with comfortable beds. The breakfast offered free was relatively good. Overall, it’s a good hostel in shanghai. ”

- “ Excellent experience, we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very accommodating to our large group. We appreciated buying by the room rather than the bed so we could all stay together, we also appreciated that the doors automatically lock when shut. We also appreciate that we were able to have a mixed group and therefore keep our group together. ”

- “ I'm one of those nut cases that always demands perfection even on a shoestring budget. I booked a double bed room for two. The place was flawless. The only issue I had with them was that they took three days to reply to my email. Other than that, that place is the best place I could find on such a tight budget. ”

- “ The hostel had no smoking signs at the entrance however we were exposed to constant stench of tobacco from internal resturant area next to our room ...not acceptable for a family orientated backpackers that happen to have to babies staying in neighbouring rooms ...staff unhelpful and lack understanding of English language ”

- “ I very much enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, even moving me to a better room when I had a complaint (free of charge). The staff makes an effort to get along with the guests (a friendly environment). Like most hostels, the need to constantly play music, is annoying, but there are enough places that still has internet connection in which to work. I did not try the food but it looks good. I planned on staying 1 day, ended up staying 16. ”

- “ Loved the feel of the place. Though wish there was wifi in the rooms instead of just the lobby. Also let it be noted that when ordering food from the resturant/bar it took our group of five 3+ hours to get all our meals that seemed to be sent at random 30 to 45 minute intervals. ”
