The Pros: very central and some members of the staff are realy nice. The cons: 4th floor no lift, no toilet paper, and if you leave your bed you never know who will be sleeping in it when you come back :) Herwig, from Austria ~ 23rd Aug 2009

we had booked two beds in a 4bed bedroom and paid our deposit and the booking fee of 1 gbp. unfortunately we were put in a 8bed bedroom. it was very tight (almost too tight) and poorly ventilated. when we tried to express our disagreement we were almost asked to leave!this is inacceptable. sorry but we still loved edinburgh sandra, from Germany ~ 30th Jul 2009

Very satisfied with the price and was a nice room for the night, very kind understanding staff. However the toilets were disgusting, no toilet paper and the it was leaking from the ceiling. Showers were quite poor; more like a drip and the water was cold. Arash, from Ireland ~ 16th Mar 2009

Terrible! Don't stay here! The staff are rude... there was no power point in a FOURTEEN bed dorm (that's right, not even one - I had to leave my phone in the hall to charge)... no lockers...they only accepted cash payment (but didn't let us know that before we arrived)... the key cards didn't work to get into the rooms and they would only give us one between 3 of us...only one light in the room worked (could barely see a thing).
