This hostel was in a perfect location in the new town. However it was really small and there was no atmosphere or anywhere to hang out. Rooms were clean but the bathrooms werent

Staff were a mixed bunch - some brilliant, others a little grumpy at times. Location was central, but in a dingy lane. Also there are three substantial flights of stairs that need to be negotiated to get to the entrance - not fun with luggage! Overall, it was a strange place to stay, but (as with every hostel) the people who are staying there at the time can make or break it. We were reasonably lucky.

I did'nt expect the hostel to be such a nice place. It has a great location right near the main street of city centre with Waverley station virtually in the opposite road, how awesome! we could use the fully equipped kitchen for cooking with other travellers. In addition, free tea, coffee and cooking ingredients were a big plus. To sum up i was suprised from A to Z and strongly recommend it to everyone!

In my opinion, the worst in Edinburgh - stay away.

wouldn't recomend this for a nice place to stay but for one night it was fine. Smelt of sick. Good location though.

The kitchen-equipment could've been better. (more of each/things, a cutting board, better knifes and pans, perhaps a larger fridge) The door-hinges could use some oil.
