Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our private room was very clean along with the shared bathrooms (all things considered). Free internet was handy. The building was very quiet the entire weekend, which was great - we slept well! Defiantly not a "party hostel," but who wants to party in their hostel when you're in the middle of Melbourne? I would defiantly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Melbs f Anna, from USA ~ 6th Sep 2009
