City Pension Storch Im Stavenhof in Cologne, Germany

This is the worst experience of a hotel! It takes 10-15 min from the central station on foot. If you have a big luggage, you'd better take a taxi(costs 4 euro). The staffs are not friendly at all. In fact , there is not accpetion here, nobody is there only in case that someone comes to check in. SO you can not leave your luggage after you check out. When you came to the hotel, you have to call the phone on the wall to talk with a woman, then she will let you wait for somebody who coming to ope DI, from China ~ 31st Aug 2009

The hostel was fine-excellent value for money and in a good location. However, Storch 2, where we stayed, has a remote reception system. Although they had a reasonably accurate eta for us, it took the best part of 20 minutes before a very terse, relatively unhelpful gentleman arrived. Graeme, from New Zealand ~ 3rd Aug 2009
