A delightful, homely and well located hostel. Part of it has recently been modernised to the extent that I could still smell the new paint in the redone showerrooms. Immaculate shower rooms, gorgeous showers, no gammey tiles or discoloured grouting, ust modern splashbacks. Immaculate bed sheets, bath mats etc. breakfast far far better than most hostels i.e range of real Kellogs cereals. Would most definitely stay here again. Felicity, from England ~ 10th Sep 2009

Great free breakfast, clean rooms, free towels and sheets and generally pleasant staff. While there's not much socializing, there's a decent lounge area and access to computers for $6/per hour. All in all, a good stay and close to the South Yarra train station. Jessica, from USA ~ 3rd Feb 2009

Beautiful and clean, isn't hugely 'fun' for young travellers, breakfast was awesome, rooms and bathrooms were spottless, perfect location and cute decor, staff were reasonable. We were staying there during Melbourne's 40+ heat wave so the room got a bit stuffy and the ceiling fan did nothing-if it wasn't a squillion degrees our stay would have been 100% Rebekah, from Australia ~ 3rd Feb 2009
