I stayed only one day/night at Kleopetra, but I was very satisfied. The stuff is very hospitable and the manager is entertaining. The rooms are not comfortable, but are decent and clean. They drove us to Petra entrance for free. Through them I arranged Wadi Rum desert arangement with which I was also very satisfied. Nikola, from Croatia ~ 10th Nov 2009

"Molto bello!". Good beds but power points were not working. Moquette in the room was rather old and dirty but the staff is very kind and hostel offers free transportation to Petra site entrance. They gave us also a free breakfast. The place is quiet and we slept without noises. Michele, from Italy ~ 9th Oct 2009

This hostel is great for anybody who wants to see Petra. Wadi Mousa, where the hostel is located, is a fascinating town. Cleopetra is located right in the center of town and a very short walk away from lots of inexpensive, authentic restaurants. The staff is very friendly and offered to drive us to and from Petra at no cost. They also make amazing Turkish coffee. Rosalie, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2009

Though the staff was friendly, helpful and super wonderful overall. The place was a bit rough around the edges. We had a welcome tea, breakfast, and even picked up some mellon on the way back to the hostel which they chilled and prepared for us. Though I probably wouldn't have wanted to stay two nights, it was just the right fit for our group. Jennah, from USA ~ 24th Jun 2009

We really had a great time staying here. A nice, friendly, cosy atmosphere and a very entertaining Mosleh. What else could one want? Thank you so much Mosleh for making our trip unforgettable . saleh, from Australia ~ 6th Jun 2009

Cleo's is poorly maintained, and does not present well, but the linens and bathrooms were clean. Both bed and bathroom were small for me, and my expectations are not high here. If my feet and arms are ALL hanging off the sides, and I have to spread my legs against the wall in front of me to take a dump... well, you get the picture. The staff were friendly and hospitable, and very helpful in providing information and organizing onward travel tours. The mosque is close - you will be woken at 4a Derick, from Australia ~ 31st May 2009

This is a very good budget option in Petra. Don't expect 3-star luxury, that will cost you more. But the service here is excellent! They bring you to Petra whenever you want and pick you up if you call them, a service you need after a day of walking and climbing. The rooms are not very big, but the beds are good and it is clean. I would come here again. Suzan, from Netherlands ~ 13th May 2009

Excellent for arranging transportation to other destinations and sightseeing. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms, warm showers. Good value for money. It's a 20-30 min walk to the main Petra site, however free transport is provided. Highly recommended. We came back here a second time. Melanie, from Australia ~ 30th Dec 2008

Staff is extremely friendly and welcomed us with tea and hot chocolate. The rooms were quite dingy and small and the living area was smoky. Colleen, from USA ~ 2nd Dec 2008
