Man in the tourist information room is helpful and nice. And that`s it... We had dirty room,we had problems as 10 people in 8 bed female room,with a man,who was actually lying on my bed,when I arrived from the boat trip. And we had stuff who didn`t said sorry to us(me and my friend)but they said sorry to that man,that they had to move him to another room. And it was horribly noisy at the night time,so we couldn`t sleep. We were supposed to stay there for 2 nights,but we decided just to move fro Gulzat, from Kazakhstan ~ 5th Sep 2009

Our stay in Cordial House made us felt like we were home. The staff was so helpful and polite and so so nice. Very reasonable price and strategic location to all the major attractions, we all just loved it! Would recommmend a 150%! Hope we can come back :) Nur Amalina, from Malaysia ~ 15th Jun 2009

We stayed in the mixed dormitory room, and I have rarely had that good an experience compared to price! Some complaints I have heard deal with things being stripped down a bit, like not enough service and not completely cleam everywhere, but I had no such problems. Hostels are not five star hotels, but this one has a five star price-to-product marking in my book! If you can do without being pampered like a baby, this is the place for you! Excellent location but otherwise unremarkable. One staff member was very rude. Female dorm smelled badly and had only 1 key for 9 beds. Do NOT go on their Backpackers walking tour. Only went to half of the places listed and instead spent an hour at a theme park called Miniaturk so packed with schoolchildren you could barely get through. Poster claimed to have an English speaking guide on the poster but literature in the van says it does not. Guide did not speak English and was not helpful. Nicole, from USA ~ 17th May 2009
