the room was clean. towels were changed everyday. there was hot shower. the only thing is the size of the room which i heard is just common in hongkong. small room,bed, toilet. but overall i still recommend cosmic to travellers on a budget. plus they sell discounted ticket to disneyland and ocean park. I was on a backpacking trip to China and my friend and i decided to stop over hongkong for a leisure trip. Well, it turned out really well and the room was clean. The baggage storage was a plus point as you can still go shopping after checking-out without having to worry about the load. The room was well-maintained and the bathroom is clean.The only problem is space constraints as it is quite difficult to move around. If i were on a budget trip again, Cosmic would be a good option! Good location, very clean - we have got clean towels every day. Very small rooms, but that is standard in Hong Kong. No common area, only for sleeping purpose. TV in every room, 24 hours hot water available. Cezary, from Poland ~ 28th Jul 2011

The guesthouse itself was actually fine, the rooms small but livable. However as two females we felt extremely unsafe in the location, getting in and out of the building even was dodgy - and the cab ride from the island was over 100 HKD. Jade, from Australia ~ 20th Jun 2011

As hostels go in HK (I've stayed in a fair few) my stay at cosmic was easily the most pleasant. Up on the 12th floor of a block of flats, it is quiet, the rooms are big (for hk), I felt very safe, and the staff are extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Highly recommend this hostel. The Cosmic Guest House is, maybe, the best guest house in the two "Mansions". The staff was very helpful. Located in Mirador Mansions means it is in the central part of Tsim Sha Tsui and is very close to many attractions and transport. (MTR - 2 min)(bus - 2 min) (Star ferry - 10 min) walk. The rooms are small by western standards but that is common in all Hong Kong Hostels and Hotels.
