Staff were extremely helpful and very cool, great for a one or two night stay, unless your fine with a party atmoesphere, people were running around all night, there was a sure buzz about the place.

Excellent location - 10 mins walk from Waverley Train & Bus Station and right opposite the 3 Sisters Pub. Only downside was the potentially fatal shower in flat 1 that had a loose electrical cover that exposed the wiring within and had water pouring out of the bottom even when the shower was off - I told the staff and they just yawned! Other than that, for basic functionality, security, cleanliness and location, it's a scorcher!

One of the best hostels I stayed at...
The bedding could have been cleaner; it's disconcerting to sleep on a pillow that has drool stains. The rest of the hostel was pleasant, and it was in a fantastic locations.
great location, right in the center of the great city called Edinburgh. The rooms are pretty tidy and the mattresses are fine for comfortable sleep. The facilities are good but some of them can be improved. For example, individual lockers for the boarders could be provided. Some apartments dont have hot water in the kitchen sinks and a few corridors have a stink.
