i really enjoyed the stay in Crown Brownstone. The staff was really helpfull and friendly! Just the location wasn'nt the best but the cleanliness and the fun factor at this Hostel made up for that! i would definetly stay there again!!

really nice place, in lively but very safe and friendly neigbourhood. at 10 min walk+30 min subway from manhattan. the rooms are clean and the staff enthousiastic. lots of international travellers, relaxed and sociable atmosphere in the common rooms. only minus are the slightly noisy AC's. for the rest, no comment, great hostel. keep up the good stuff!

The Crown Brownstone was clean, large, and in a lively and interesting part of Brooklyn. The staff were unfailingly hospitable, and the experience as a whole was a cut above anything I have found in Manhattan. Stay here.

In a slightly dicey location but what a place. Clean, nice and friendly. Easy to get into town on the subway. Very impressed, a nice way to end a holiday of 3 months in various hostels hostels
