  • The owners were very welcoming and kind. The location was fantastic and convenient. It was clean and I felt safe. My only thoughts were that we were basically sleeping in a basement- no windows which made it tricky for waking up early when the others in the dorm were still sleeping. It was definitely not the best hostle I've ever stayed in but I would go back again!

  • Owners were extremely nice & helpful. Even provided guests a locally inspired dinner one night - gratis.

  • Tommy and Ana were incredible hosts. They go above and beyond for guests and you always feel safe and welcome. The kitchen isn't that great, but other than that, the accommodations are what to expect in a hostel. For the price, it's the best place to stay in Culebra. I only planned on spending 2 nights there, but I ended up staying 4 and would have stayed longer if I could. Do go; it's a great hostel.

  • Definitely the cheapest place in Culebra for someone travelling alone, but dont expect much. They just recently opened, so its a work in progress. It has a poor excuse for a kitchen and bathrooms are sketchy - one has hot water w/ an electric outlet above the shower, the other has a curtain for a door. A quick < 5 min walk to anything in town, including the ferry and the bus to flamenco. I enjoyed a late night chat on the porch w/ other guests and checking out the stars from the roof deck.

  • I don't have 'a lot' of experience . . . I have only stayed in a few hostels, but now I am more eager to do so. I must say that I enjoyed Tommy and Anna's hospitality and it was great to visit Culebra!

  • Both Tommy and Anna (owners) are very sweet and helpful people. They invited us for the Christmas Eve Puerto Rican dinner and also the next again(American style). Tommy lent me a snorkeling gear too. Very homely atmosphere! Since this place is new as a hostel, it does lack some facilities(kitchen) which I guess will be worked upon soon. I didn't have any issues with it since I wasn't going to cook. Hostel is located at a 5 mins walking distance from the ferry terminal which is a huge advantage.

  • The owners were really helpful when I forgot my snorkeling equipment in a taxi and they really went out of their way to help me track it down - they called most taxi services and went searching for the driver around the island and I managed to get my snorkeling set back again, for which I am very grateful!

  • This hostel was absolutely amazing. Some of the sweetest people we came across in Puerto Rico. Met some awesome locals on the island that showed us around as well. We will DEFINITELY be coming back and staying there again!!

  • Some of the most personable people - very helpful and friendly, creating a homelike atmosphere! Since this place is new as a hostel, it is lacking in facilities (kitchen in the dorm is far from functional and there's not much in terms of hanging-around space). Something could probably be done about the huge roaches roaming the dorm at night, too. The homecooked dinners were delicious though it should be established beforehand that this is a service. Overall, a good option for staying on Culebra.

  • The kitchen in the dorm was not ready yet. I was travelling with a small child so they gave me a double room with kitchen and own bathroom which was very nice of them. Basic but beautiful place. The staff is very very nice, kind and helpful. Anne is - how her surname says - a very loving person. Thanks guys.
