I was pleased with the Czech Inn. It was quiet and was conveniently located to public transportation. With people on the desk 24 hrs daily, it was secure and safe.

This is an excellently maintained property. It is a little bit of a hike from the center but easy access via transport. The quiz night was fun and we met some nice guests. We found the staff very helpful. Yes breakfast was a little pricy considering one day they served some awful coffee but there are a lot of options (meat, fruits, yoghurt) and the bread was frest and delicious.

Czech Inn was clean, polite, and the location was average. However, it has very little in the way of personality. Concrete walls with little art or character makes one forgot one is in the historical city of Prague. The building may be ornate and impressive from the outside, but inside the walls you get a college dorm. Safe and blah. I stayed in a private double near the elevator and had to tolerate the late-night drunks. Scampering from my room to the bathroom in full view of anyone walking by or waiting for the elevator was not so great either. Breakfast was pretty good (not included) but overall, it wasn't worth the price. I only stayed there because I was driving, and didn't want to mess with parking. My car was dented anyway so I suggest you train into the city and stay downtown.

The bathrooms weren't the cleanest I've seen, but the rest of the experience was quite good.

Great base for exploring Prague. The rooms are super spacious and the whole facility in general was immaculate. A little away from most of the sights, but no problem at all. Staff was great and accomdating. I would stay there again when i come back to prague.

Flashy but soulless. I would not recommend this place for a hostel experience at all. Everything seems designed to milk as much money from the customer as possible: towels are extra, coffee is extra on top of the extremely overpriced breakfast, beers at the half-deserted bar cost 50% more than down the block. There are no kitchen facilities at all. I had no trouble meeting people at other hostels at which I stayed on my trip, but the Czech inn is not at all conducive for this. On the plus side, it is clean and quiet and the facilities are very nice.
