It was a great location though quite noisy. The staff were helpful. It was a bed to sleep on though the cleanliness was a little suspect. Monique, from Canada ~ 28th Sep 2009

My stay in this hostel was the first time (in Europe) that I felt cheated. The hostel staff didn't reimburse the 10 Euro cash taken for the door swipe card (as an advance payment). This might be attributed to the fact that the guys don't have a proper sync up between themselves. But the fact is we were expecting to check in to a dorm and we were given this room instead - as these guys had goofed up some cancellation! They didn't create much hassle at that point. Horrible in every possible way! NEVER STAY THERE!!!!! Even if it has the last available bed in the city, you would be better off saving your money and sleeping at Centraal Station. IT REALLY IS THAT BAD! Kelly, from Australia ~ 28th Apr 2009

Definitely a 2 night stay. It was loads of fun and the roommates were cool, but the place itself leaves a lot to be desired. Steep staircases and only a few working hallway lights on our first night. All in all, it was great - just don't go expecting an amazing accommodation. The location is great too, but like all hotels near a train station - the area can be just a tad sketchy especially at the wee hours of the morning. There are no lockers so we stored our stuff at the train station on the f William, from USA ~ 15th Apr 2009

for 3 guys staying a long weekend, this venue was fine. I'd take the girlfriend elsewhere. David, from England ~ 10th Feb 2009

The location is literally right by central station and is perfect for access to nightlife! The Damhotel is very basic (to be expected for £24). The entrance and reception leave a lot to be desired for, however the room itself was clean with clean bedding, towels and bathroom etc and decent beds/matresses. Slightly concerned to see mice in the rooms however! Overall you cant complain and pretty much ideal for beer hungry stag weekends! Nicholas, from England ~ 24th Dec 2008

The hotel was under construction but they didnt tell this before. I ve need enter throught tulip hotel door. When I arrived (at night) my room was not ready but they gave another room. The locker was not working. The wireless was not working too. They dont have a commom room. It s more like a budget hotel. It s not worth. Ernani, from Brazil ~ 25th Nov 2008
