The place has everything going for it, friendly and helpful staff, great for families or meeting other travelers, no surprises, great location (cross the road and you are on the beach), nice clean pool, drinks and food and spotlessly clean. Plus air-conditioning (a must if you are in Aqaba in the Summer), diving club nearby, snorkel equipment at the hotel, and everything running and working. A 5 dinar taxi ride will et you to Aqaba town in 10 minutes. The beach is more or less bikini f jeffery, from Spain ~ 25th Aug 2009

The darna village is a nice place to stay. You are indeed a bit far from aqaba, but you have the gorgeous sea just outside, we stayed 3 days here. the room had airco, was clean and very modern, the beds were good and clean. we cannot complaint about this place.
