I have to say that the staff were great, the day I checked in I wasn't happy with the room. I was then put into another room.
I do have some concerns though, I was in an 8 bed room and found that when all beds are occupied they are very small as there is no room for luggage. Another thing I payed to stay in a mixed room and that doesn't happen, you have to be very lucky.
Breakfast is only a couple of slices of toast and coffee, bagels wouldn't go astray.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel, so I really didnt know what to expect! The Deco walk surpassed my expectations---each rooms gets their own bathroom-! :) The location is awesome, right on the strip and right across from the beach!
The rooftop is really fun too, as there are always partying and drinking going on up there ^^. The staff are really friendly and I felt like I was with all my good friends at a beach house!
Totally recommend staying here, you will not regret it!

I really liked my stay at Deco Walk. Surprisingly quiet given that there is a Latin bar in the next building! It would have been even better if the rooms were smaller, maybe 4 people in a room. Thanks :)

Great hostel compares to my previous international travel. Wish the kitchen area was a bit bigger (and microwave was broken at the time). Otherwise, no complains. Perfect location for enjoyment of the beach and partying. Again, it is a bit noisy if you are looking for quiet and relaxation. (Valet) parking is reasonable for $10. Would definitely come back again.

The room I stayed in was way too small for the 8 beds that had been crammed in. Was disheartened to have to forfeit payment for 1 night because my flight connection didn't work (I got double-whammed - had to pay for a hotel for that night in Houston, Texas, AND basically lost the money for the night in the hostel) - folks should be more forgiving for proven no fault situations like these. Manager was very approachable but only agreed to a select future 1 night credit. WATCH: valet $10 now!

The hostel was great! The staff is friendly and the facilities are clean and just as described. It is located right across the street from the beach which is perfect for you sunbathers! There are also many restaurants and clubs in the immediate area. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in South Beach.

I would absolutely stay at Deco Walk again! The people were very fun and friendly. Breakfast was a couple pieces of toast and a muffin, but that's okay for the price. The location was great--right across from the beach and right next to the downtown life. The only downfall was the cleaning staff, who knew very little English. All in all:
wonderful stay!
Jake and Margot were fantastic, too!

FANTASTIC!! Nothing to complain about apart from the attidue of some of the day staff, but couldn'tcomplain at all about the location right across the street from the beach :-D Would defo stay herer again without a second doubt!!
