  • Very good place to stay. They have a cool garden but not sure how much longer it will exist. It's quite clean there and easy to meet people. Worth the money. I wonder if all hostels in Thailand don't provide tissue in toilets...I stayed in two and neither of them does.

  • Nice hostel. It is really easy to meet people because of the various common areas. Staff is helpfull if you need help. It is also really cheap which is nice. Security might be an issue because there is no locker in the rooms. It is only a common area where there are way less lockers than people staying, which means that you have good chances of not having any locker for your stuff...Also, there is only 1 computer working, which is not enough for the quantity of people staying there.

  • Very good for the price. You won't find anything much cheaper and better, especially if you have 2 or 3 friends and can share a room. The lobby is sweet, and there is a chill little garden out the front with a fish pond that you can relax in. We paid $4 each a night for A/C (didn't work real well) with a fan too and it had a private bathroom, can't really complain with that. Definitely recommend!

  • The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful social area. Good to stay. The mirror in the bathroom isn't fixed to the wall and could fall down. Should be careful about that.

  • The location of Deejai is very good, being in an accessible part of the old city. However, I found the facilities somewhat run down. My toilet leaked most of the night, for example. This is a hostel most suited for the party traveller, and there was noise throughout the night. If you are looking for a quiet, restful place, this is not it.

  • The staff guy was very kind. The garden was enjoyable. But I didn't like the bathroom.
