Facilities were good. Very clean and very safe. Staff was fantastic. They helped us plan our activities, told us where to find them, and were always very kind and helpful. If I'm back in Keswick, I will definitely stay here again.

Not flashy, but it does the job; provides a hot shower and a firm mattress. Not too far from the city centre.

the building is a bit dark and dismal and the sitting area decidedly so but food and staff very good.We were told our bikes would be secured but found the room was not only left unlocked all night but the door was left wide open.

We had a great time at Denton House, but beware the walking directions. Try these instead: from the bus stop walk to the town center and take the left branch of the road by the Moot Hall. Then turn left on Station Street and right onto Penrith Road (where Station Street ends) and then you should be good. You have to pay to store your stuff in lockers. Beds very comfy and beautiful fully equipped kitchen.

Security was poor, it was coded door that was part of their mobile no. that would not be changed. Listed on front door for all to see, no lockers. When we had problem during the night (after hours), we rang after hours mobile for help (staff was meant to be on site) was told he was meant to be there but couldn't be and do not tell anyone or he'd get in trouble. He refured us to a door to knock but got no response, hence no help at all after hours until 9:30am.
