This place is better described as a bed and breakfast than a hostel.The hosts are incredibly warm and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, and the food is delicious.If you're looking for a party hostel in the heart of downtown, this isn't it.If you're looking for a nice, relaxed place to stay in a beautiful home with interesting and friendly people, you will enjoy your stay at Peaceful Haven.I had a fantastic time and will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Des Moines.
