- “ Жила в хостеле в общей сложности 11 ночей, понравилось все. Хостел находится в центре, в старом доме с потрясающим подъездом, консьержкой, деревянным лифтом и лепниной на потолке. Сначала ввиду мест в общих комнатах меня, не взяв доплату, поселили в отдельную, потом перевезли в отл ”

- “ Where to start... I arrived at the hostel, and they said they had overbooked but had reserved me another bed at a different hostel. It was the dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in.... no attempt to clean anything in the 3 days I was there, in fact the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. Had to share a 10 bed dorm, also full of 'overbooked' guests, not a 4 bed dorm i reserved. Be aware if you book to stay at 'Diagonal Home', you may be sent somewhere far worse!! ”

- “ When I stayed in Diagonal Home, there were very few guests so that the guesthouse was so quite. For some people, crowded guesthouses were preferred, but for me, it was so nice and I could take a rest enough as if I was in home. Even though it was a little bit difficult to find the guesthouse because there is no big sign board and it is just like other neighborhood house, not like commercial hostels, that is why I could enjoy the chance to experience the old Barcelona's apartment ”

- “ It is a dirty place, the staff does not help you in anything, and they don't have security cards or keys on the room, or in the hostel, so people can enter your room anytime, besides this I've requested a female room and they put me in a room with 5 boys, without listening my complains about my reservation. ”

- “ This hostel was not what I was expecting at all. It was dirty, gross, and disgusting. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchens were unacceptable. I did not want to shower there and I did not want to cook any food there. I doubt the bathrooms were ever cleaned the entire time I was there for 5 nights. Guests leave their dirty dishes with food all over the common areas and the kitchen. The internet did not work in our rooms and in the common areas it was extremely slow and did not work at times. ”

- “ I've been staying in hostels for more than 8 years, but this was the first time the staff was absolutely rude. One of the guys working at night was watching a movie when I arrived late at night and it seemed we were disturbing him when inquired about the lack of internet connection and he said 'I'm watching a movie, if the internet doesn't work it's because probably they didn't pay the bill'. Can you believe that? Apart from this, the location is nice. ”

- “ We had blood suckers bugs in our bed. In the first night we had to sleep in the coutch on the living room. The room have a window to the elevator. The hostel is old and the kitchen in not clean as the bathrooms. The elevator never works. ”

- “ I really liked that place I felt home! The staff was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. I liked the location according to the city center where lots of hostels seems to be party houses instead of a sleeping surface. In this location you get the chance to experience the best parts of Barcelona outside the center. Diagonal Home is a great place to meet other cool travelers. You can cook your own food in the kitchen and have a good night sleep. The atmosphere is cosy and warm. ”

- “ Well, when you first come in, you're quite surprised, because de place is very simple, and it's even not visible from the outside... No sign on the door ! Then you begin to love it, because people are amazing in there, coming from all around the world, speaking English, Spanish, French, Dutch etc. The little bad points : 10 minutes walking to get to the closest metro station... And no locker in the bedrooms ! Got a really nice trip there ! ”

- “ En lineas generales estaba bien, un ambiente relajado, buenas personas que lo atienden, muy serviciales y atentos. Lo negativo es que nos toco una habitación que estaba al lado de la recepción (doble, privada matrimonial) y se escuchaban ruidos y conversaciones en varias oportunidades. Hay tres baños por lo que es cómodo, y la cocina está en condiciones para desayunar y tener un espacio de esparcimiento. ”

- “ Realmente por el precio, el hostel está muy bien. La zona en la que está ubicado es muy linda, sin embargo no es la zona más céntrica. De todos modos con el metro se llega fácilmente. Las habitaciones son standard. Hay computadoras que se pueden usar libremente. La recepción es 24 hs, sin embargo, como el hostel no da a la calle hay que tocar timbre en la puerta para que abran con un portero eléctrico, lo que a veces demora unos minutos. Fuera de eso, todo el resto estuvo bien. ”

- “ Il vecchio ascensore spesso non funziona o rimane bloccato a qualche piano. Qualche componente del personale non parla inglese. I bagni sono abbastanza sporchi e oltretutto vecchi, le camere tenute male. Ma il vero grande problema sono le cimici del letto (bed bugs) piccoli insetti marroni molto chiari o molto scuri, mi sono subito riempita di punture rosse, sono insetti davvero terribili il problema è che si attaccano agli indumenti e depongono le uova! Io ero nella stanza n 5! Fate attenzione! ”
