Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Didn't find the sauna/pool and front desk closed early but the rooms were clean/comfortable, and linens were provided. Apparently we were there during the off-season and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Would gladly stay there again (but what about the sauna?)...

Hostel is very nice and clean, I'd say one of the best in Dresden. But the staff was more than unfriendly. When I wanted to check out the reception should already have been open for an hou, but there was nobody there and I was in a hurry cause I had to leave. I did not get the room I booked, but one with more people in and a mixed room, which wasn't what I had booked at all, but I still had to pay the same price. They even got mad at me when I asked if I could pay less. Really very unfriendly.

Overall Die Boofe was a very good hostel. The only problem we had was the woman at the front desk - she is EXTREMELY rude. The man, on the other hand was very helpful. If they got rid of her, it would be a terrific place to stay.

From the hostel it was an easy walk into town. The rooms were clean.
