the staff was helpful, there were no lockers to lock up stuff, but it felt pretty safe and they lock the front door regularly even during the day, so it was a great place to stay, Especially the location! wow! We could even see it from the acropolis! so great!!

The breakfast is very poor, the showers aren't usefull, there is no common kitchen and no common room to meet other travellers... I think it's not a youth hostel...

Stratos was great, so helpful! We will likely stay again on our way back from the islands. The rooms are basic but you are less than 5 minutes from all the restaurants of the Plaka and so close to the main attractions (Acropolis, etc. SHowers were great! Bathrooms are shared but this wasn't any issue.

This is a wonderful hostel! I would recommend that anyone stay here. Thelocation could not have been better. The people who run the hostel are very willing to help with anything and everyhing! Stay here!!!

The only comment I would make is that the lack of heating in the winter (Jan) was almost unbearable. Other than that, great hostel.

We booked this hotel for one reason, the location. We were one block from the Temple of Zeus and ten minutes walk to the Acropolis and all the other historical sites. The price was great too. We felt very safe in the hotel and the area it was in. Our only complaints were that the room had obviously been smoked in before and the room itself seemed like an afterthought on the second floor stairwell - it was very narrow and the ceiling was only 7 feet high making it seem a little claustrophobic. If you want a safe hotel with a great location at a good price, I would recommend this hotel.

It sucks when you have to walk up a flight of stairs to use the bathroom, and then when you have to hold up the shower head while you clean yourself. The breakfast offered was really meager too, and it was a first come first serve basis. The location was first rate though, right in the middle of the best that Athens has to offer.
