Great location but too expensive for the rather low standard. Not the cleanest place (toilets and showers!)

Frankly speaking, a bad hostel. The only advantage is good location, very close to historical part of the city. The staff is not very friendly, you have to wait for 40 min at the reception to check in.No lockers in rooms, dirty and broken showers, awfull breakfast.

This hostel is just a joke! When we arrived, supposedly to stay in a 14 bed dorm, i found myself sleeping on a camp bed stuck into the room (turning it into a 15 bed dorm) and my friend didn't even have a bed, because someones stuff was all over the bed, as they didn't know they were supposed to be leaving. There was a rip in my sheet big enough for me to put over my head and shoulders ad wear as a lovely dress! The showers and toilets, though cleaned every day seemed to be permenantly grubby, because they just pack far too many people in at once. By no breakfast, they also mean no facilities to cook anything, our first night me and my friend ended up eating soup out of the same bowl, because there was only one, and there was no cutlery. The kitchen also stank, i don't think they bothered cleaning out the fridge ever because it was just disgusting. None of the staff seemed to know who was sleeping where, and when ever anyone arrived, there was a massive confusion about where they were going to sleep, because there was no space. However, the hostel is a nice location and the staff were friend when you asked them for help about Gdansk or catching trains. But for the price you pay (by the standards of the other Polish hostels we stayed in, this was expensive!) what you get is actually shocking.

compared to the dizzy daisy hostel in krakow this hostel was not very good. the bed was broken, the only plug socket in the room was broken. having stayed in a previous dizzy daisy hostel which was half the price and twice as nice, i feel this hostel was overpriced and not up to standard for the price you pay.

the place really had no character or atmosphere. some of the staff didnt really no anything about the the town and when ferries etc left to the peninsula. booked a 10 bed dorm and ended up in a 18 bed dorm. no designated bed so people take your bed. other than that good location and quite clean

Simple hostel set up in a boarding school, big rooms, lots of showers, very close to the train station.

I have traveled around the world staying at hostels. This was by far one of my worst experinces. Other then its good location I have nothing positive to say about it. They overbooked the hostel, and giving peoples beds up. They gave me a bed that was not available. Then at three in the morning a lady was going through my stuff and then started yelling at me. In the end the staff had a hard time dealing with it and continued to let this crazy lady to yell at me and wake everyone up. I was not the only person that this happened to. There was one staff member that tried to help and was very nice but had no idea what was going on...at all. There are better hostels in the area.
