We were put up in a different place due to overbooking.The place was central, looked like it had prev. been a bar.In the 1st level there is the common room/kitchen with a big window overlooking the street, two wc.In the 2nd level there are 6 bunk beds with only one shower.There were no lockers in the room and no bed lights so after everybody is sleeping you have to make your way in the darkness.There is no staff working in there so it looks like you aren't in a hostel.Nice experience thoug Alberto, from Spain ~ 25th Aug 2009

very loud due to the wall that didn´t even reach until the roof, no lockers, no space to put all your stuff, no sink - to brush your teeth you had to use the tiny sink in the toilet, fortunately we stayed only one night and then moved to marken gjesthus - which i can recommend very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The card keys work in every dorm room, so all people staying here have access to your room. I didn't like this feature. The bathrooms and showers were clean and worked well. David, from USA ~ 8th Jun 2009

Worst hostel I've been in. (FYI: I have stayed at 6, 3 each in Norway and USA). As you walk in, it smells because all the bathrooms and showers are right there on your way to your room. Room that I stayed in had 6 bunk beds for a total of 12 people. Not enough room to store stuff, no hangers even in the shower. Gotta keep pushing a button every minute or two to continue getting water. Small common room with loud TV that I was unable to shut off even after everyone had gone to bed.
