Downtown Backpackers Hostel Bratislava in Bratislava, Slovakia

Cool, laid back place. I loved the bar where you can have slovakian beer and the bench outside where you can have a smoke. I also liked nicely decorated lounge with sofas. I really liked this place. It had a nice homey feel. GREAT location, friendly staff, and it's small enough that you can really get to know mostly everyone there (at least a bit). There is a washer/dryer on premise. I didn't use it, but I'm pretty sure it's free. And free wi-fi too. My only problem was the shower head wall attachment is broke (when I was there). The shower still works, but it sucks needing to hold the shower head. Not too big deal of a problem though. James, from USA ~ 25th Aug 2009

Staff is not friendly even helpful! The hostel however is nice, with a nice garden behind where to have some beers! It is not far away from the city center (people Bratislava is really small!!) It is a good place to meet people! Albert, from Spain ~ 31st Aug 2009
