The carparking left a lot to be desired as the only parking available was a public carpark accross the street that the parking time expired at 6am and to park there until 10am it would cost NZD$10. this backpackers is rather average and you only get what you pay for, so its a bit on the dirty side. the staff are not very good, they mucked up our reservations and were very rude and abrasive towards us when changing our dates. apart from that, it is in a great location and very close to all the cities sites and transport.
