We stayed at the Downtown hostel for only one night, but the experience was great, everything was clean, staff was nice and friendly. We rented a private room for 2 and it was big and had a good view and everything that is needed. Will definitely recommend it and stay again when needed. Olena, from Ukraine ~ 19th Sep 2011

Despite the 5 stories of stairs, vs my last hostel that had an elevator, I chose to come back at Downtown hostel. Its close to the local supermarket,cheap Ukrainian buffets, 24-hr doner kebab stands(handy after pub crawls!), the metro station, the famous Vodka Bar,the main city center (Sofia's church, st Andrew's church, the must see Lavra, Tin Tit are all relatively nearby). Most importantly, the lady of the house, Luda, is wonderful! She's warm, and keeps the house meticulously clean.WORTH IT Adin, from USA ~ 17th Aug 2011
