Downtown Paraiso Hostel in Barcelona, Spain

location is the hostel's best asset. there is a fine (secluded) terrace. unfortunately its a little noisy, not due to traffic but because of tile floors and thin walls. so don't snore pieter, from Netherlands ~ 30th Oct 2009

Awesome! Stay here! Clean, perfect location and superfriendly staff! I loved it! And it has this awesome terrace where you can sit and eat och drink sangria..The bathrooms were very clean, almost cleaner than in my own house haha! STAY HERE!!! Emmah, from Sweden ~ 2nd Oct 2009

Overall the hostel is fine/average. However, there is NO Air Conditioning and ZERO AIR FLOW (a serious problem). We made it thru one night and then had to move to a place with AC for the remaining nights of our stay while at Barcelona. Mattea, from USA ~ 7th Sep 2009

I was not satisfied with the hostel. The staff was not friendly, I asked a simple question and received a rude response. It was extremely hot and stuffy in the room with no A/C or air circulation. Would definitely not recommend staying here. Letisia, from USA ~ 7th Sep 2009
