horrible. I stayed 1 night instead of 5 no refunds. uncomfortable beds, toilets and showers together behind a door that doesnt lock. I went to HI toronto instead.
Me hospede ahi y tuve problemas en mi habitacion porque habia unos animales pequeños en la cama y terminaron conmigo y mis compañeras de habitacion. Llegamos a las 7 pm a dormir, ya uqe veniamos cansados del viaje, y a la 1 am nos tuvimos que cambiar de habitacion. Muy mal que no revisen las habitacion ants de asignarlas. Continuamos por el problema de las ronchas y las picaduras por 3 dias mas e incluso cuando llegamos Montreal, tuve que lavar toda mi ropa y mi casa.

The locaton is convenient. We did everything by foot. The hostel seems to be the location for some longterm stay I met people who stayes weeks or months. You can meet very different people like family or students or travellers. The hostels was in rework so the quality of the hostel should be improved.

Is good for students and globetrotters, not for families, is well located, is very dirty, but you can sleep and have breakfast(ok, only coffe and toast with butter and nutella, and tea). If you only want to visit toronto, this place is perfect.

I definitely had an awesome time at Downtowners Inn. The owners were exceptionally friendly and did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I've made really good friends during my stay there.
The hostel is very dirty. Staff does not inform about the hostel e.g. if there is internet connection, where is the breakfast etc.
The breakfast is a bit "light" and sheets have not been changed in a week

great place to stay in the summer... they have a bunch of rooms and all very clean... its a college dorm during the year...
