  • Loved the location. Clean rooms, beds were slightly uncomfortable and the area was noisy. Fantastic value for those on a budget.

  • Suggest that the hostel will explain to guests without comfort room/toilet in their room that the comfort room located outside their room are common CR and can be use by other hostel guests. There was an instance during our stay that a guest argued with us that the common CR was for their exclusive use only.

  • We stayed for 4days and 3nights at Dragon hostel and we found out that reviews from blogs are true. Staff are helpful and the place is safe and establishments are located on strategic area. Not to mention the free Unlimited use of WIFI and free use of computers. We plan to go back to HK this December and we will definitely stay on the same hostel.

  • No lockers or precautions against thieves at all; location is really great, it is situated right in the middle of Kowloon and it's peculiar places; some people of the staff speak great English and are friendly, but some are not OK; I didn't "feel" the atmosphere, everything was pretty average; cleanliness was on the average level, too; stay was really expensive for a hostel (though it's hard to find cheaper offers in Hong Kong); shared bathroom within a room is a pretty convenient thing.

  • The room is tiny, the shower is not very good, and you can end up anywhere in the Sincere Building. (We stayed in a room on the 16th floor, which was quiet, but it took a while to get there with the busy elevators, and there was no window!) It wasn't very clean either, and the bathroom smelled. It is one of the cheapest places in Hong Kong though, and the rating is above average, so this is probably what you can expect at this price range.

  • First, did not visit other hostels in HK so no comparison to local options. When compared to other hostels in cities in Asia, its average. Small windowless room (comes standard) with staff that is a mixed bag, some times in the counter there was a very friendly guy who speaks english very well, at other times a lady that gave a constant evil eye and understood nothing (or did she?). Area is always open but the building has CCT cameras (safe?). Location is excellent.

  • The room was rather small. The bathroom was incredibly small and cramped. The man working the front desk was very helpful and spoke English well. However, he was only there during the nights. The woman on duty during the day was flustered when expected to understand the word "map."

  • The host and staff there are very friendly, my flight delayed me for one day, I'm already prepared to pay for the day that I missed, but the host didn't charge me at all!! And because that my friend and I came from different places, so we would like to live in twin room instead of the pre-booked private, they all solve the problem for us, great appreciate!!! I got map and useful information there as well, very close to the temple street where is the famous snack street.

  • located right in the heart of Mong Kok. It's a good place if you don't mind extreme crowds. They don't give you a key for your room or for the main hallway door that leads to your room so if you go out, take what you need, otherwise you have to run up to the next floor, ask the person to come and unlock the door, and then run back down. Also, wifi is only turned on after 3pm and goes out around 1130pm. If you want to check your email in the morning, sit next to router down the hall or lobby.

  • Great location and excellent value for the money. Other than that it is a very basic hole in the wall guesthouse. Understandable for HK's context.

  • Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Wi-fi provided but not in the new floor which I was staying. Computer is provided at the receptionist for net browsing. Cleanliness is good. Location is good, near to the MRT station. No mirror provided in the room.
