“ The best thing about this hostel is that it has a lot of events across the week. Pizza, movie, BBQ (fire dance) nights bring everyone together and that's what travelling is all about! The staff is heaps friendly as well which I value a lot. Its not in the CBD per se, but located conveniently across from the shopping centre which is across from the CBD-proper. My only negative towards this hostel is that the AC is not free. One must pay a dollar for 3 hours. Not too bad when you pool it in ”

“ Emma and Chris were wonderful in fulfilonig our reservations for diving and other tourist activities. The Wednesday night bar-b-que is a b argain at $12 an opportunity to mix with the other guestsf. I hightly recommend a stay there. They offer a $5 shuttle from the airport. ”

“ This is a nice place to stay at when you visit Cairns. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Each evening they have smthg going on which helps you meeting other people. This is great especially if you're traveling on your own like me. Internet is not for free. You can get 5h for 7 bucks. The only drawback is that you have to pay for the AC in your room. Other than that it's perfect! I'd stay there again. ”

“ the stay in the hostel was great. It was the first hostel in australia and we realy enjoed it it was a kind of home base for me and friends. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us with all kinds of problems. The hostel itself has a realy good atmosphere. Thank you! ”
