Drop Inn Too in Wexford, Singapore

Shower was filled with fruit flies and was dirty. Toilet seat was broken. Drop Inn Too's advertised secure swipe card access wasn't working when we arrived - anyone could freely enter the building off the street. We approached the staff a couple of times and were told that it would be fixed on the same day. We checked out a couple of days later and it still wasn't fixed. Hi! Thank you for your comments. We apologised about the shower. I will go and investigate this issue and feedback to my cleaning company about it. The swipe card access was broken over the weekend, that is why we are unable to get anyone to come down. However, it has since been repaired. Sorry for the inconvenience. In addition, please also note that we have CCTVs in the hostel which will enable us to know if anyone enter the hostel unauthorised. Thank you also for letting us know that our staff 'do not care about the upkeep of the property'. I will feedback to them and make sure that this do not happen again. We wash our sheets everytime someone checks out. In addition, we also have our cleaner to clean the floors everyday. However, our sheets are brown and our floors are grey. Thus, it may send the illusion that they are dirty when they are not (compared to lighter colours). If they are really dirty, it will be nice to approach our staff so that we can ask our cleaner to clean them again. Sorry for the inconvenience. However, may I know whether your comments are a bit biased because you asked to get a refund although that is not in accordance with our 72 hours policy and you are a bit pissed off about it? Please try to make this review as unbiased as possible, rather than taking it out on us when you wanted your money back and not allowed to.

For the price I think it was fair. But in the 3 days I stayed there no one came to clean the bedroom. Not even to take the rubbish bean. Mattress were SO hard! Really uncomfortable. Only one toilet and kne shower per floor. no hooks to hand your towels. And no really clean. No ambiance or fun. Just a hostel to sleep. Not even music during breakfast, which wasnt really nice. Hi! Thank you for your comments. This is a hostel, not a hotel, thus, please get your expectation right to begin with. Most people do not expect their rooms to be cleaned daily in a hostel. For the mattress, some people like hard mattresses because it is better for the back, but some people do not. Please also try to understand something called 'personal preferences' and it is not possible to buy different mattresses and get the guests to choose their preference when they check in. There is 1 toilet and 1 shower on the second floor, but there are 2 combined toilets and shower on the first floor. Thus, you can always go to the toilet downstairs, unless you are so lazy that 1 flight of stairs is too difficult for you to handle, then, I am sorry I cannot help you on your laziness. In addition, I also do not know that it is a compulsory thing to play music during breakfast time. Simple breakfast of toasts, coffee and tea is provided. This brings me the first point that, this is a HOSTEL. Please do not expect a hotel service with buffet breakfast if you are only willing to pay the price of a hostel! This leads back to the point of matching expectation. If you are cheapskate, do not expect everything. Thank you for your stay though.
