The street below was noisy, but everything else was fine.

I had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave us good advice on best bars, restaurants. They were very patient as I had many questions! The hostel is clean, in a good location and I am really recommend it.

It was loud at times and in July at least it gets hot in the 6 bed dorms. Breakfast was good, but the wireless didn't work. The staff was pretty helpful.

This was the first hostel we stayed in during our trip and it set the bar high. 'Character' and 'Staff' should really recieve perfect ratings, however the guy that signed us in at about midnight appeared to have trouble with english and wasn't helpful otherwise, either. The rest of the staff was excellent however, friendly, layed back and knowledgable, and gave us great advice on the sights to see in Ireland's north. This was the only hostel we visited that supplied a real breakfast (not just cereal and toast), and included meats and eggs. The beds were the most comfortable we experienced too, but really, that's not saying much. Washrooms were clean and well organized (in terms of their construction). We saw the glass security doors in action, as a group of young hooligan kids tried to enter to stir things up. I guess that's the risk this hostel takes with its location, which is excellent for the backpacker by the way, basically at the top of O'Connell Street so is central and pretty easy to find, although I recommend pinpointing it on a map before hand if you can. We walked around Dublin all day, taking in all the sights, and circled back to the hostel (through O'Connell St. of course for a pint) with ease. I recall the price being a bit higher than other hostels, but it's not wasted money.

Very happy with my stay at the hostel. Was originally told on arrival that I would have to move room after the 1st night of my stay but they managed to work around this so I didn't have to move. Could possibly offer move pub tours around the city for people travelling on their own and want to meet with fellow travellers but other than that very happy with my stay.

Great hostel!I have only good things to say about our stay! Staff were very friendly and helpful with suggesting things to see and places to eat. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good! Great location, quite in the nighttime. I would 100% recommend staying here!
