This is a fairly good hostel. It is about 15 min walk to Temple Bar. The staff were pretty helpful.

While this was one of my better stays_at_a_YHA, what_was the deal with those showers? They came in too hot then to cold and you had to keep turning them on every 45 seconds. Is that_absolutley nessecary?_Apart from that it was excellent. The reception staff are very helpful_and the place was_really well maintained. And the food was excellent as well!_Loved the dinners.

A chair in the six bed room would have been nice.

Everyone was kind and helpful! This was my first hostel, and I felt really comfortable the whole weekend. The hostel was is in a safe area, all the rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was okay -- but free, so I didn't expect a gourmet meal. Truly impressed and would stay here again. Oh, be sure to take the staff up on their recommendations for day tours. I went on the Wicklow tour, and it was worth the 25 Euro.

We stayed 2 seperate nights here, and the 1st night we were in a not-so-clean bedroom (there were insects) with average showers&toilets, but the 2nd night, we were in a different wing of the building, and the bedroom was much cleaner and so were the showers&toilets! Not a very nice location, but there's a bus to the airport.
